These fit well and look great. I ordered a large; I’m 6’1″ and weigh 215. The Black with Red option is actually more of a Black with orange, which is not what I expected. The mesh pockets are great for wade fishing and drying quickly. They have a smooth texture similar to nylon, although they’re labeled as Polyester. I’m likely going to keep them.

I really like the design of these shorts; they are simple yet stylish. At 6′ and 237.5 lbs (down from 280 in the last six months), the XXL size fits me perfectly. The elastic waistband is super comfortable, and I appreciate the drawstring feature, which will come in handy as I continue to lose weight and the shorts become looser. I was so impressed with the fit of my first pair that I quickly ordered a second one, and after three months of regular washing in cold water and tumble drying on low, both pairs are still in great condition. I even ordered a third pair in light grey, since my first two are black. I enjoy the little pop of color from the strings attached to the side and rear pocket zippers, although they can be a bit annoying when I walk over 5 miles a day and my hands brush against them. However, I’ve gotten used to it, and I don’t mind that much; plus, I like the bright orange accents. These shorts are lightweight with a nice stretch, and the material doesn’t make noise when I move. They wick moisture away well, and the side pockets are just the right depth for my iPhone X—not too deep, not too shallow. The back pocket is also great for my wallet. Overall, I’m very satisfied with these shorts.
